Just like his feline and dolphin counterparts, the dog in the above clip shows that humans aren’t the only species joining the ipad revolution.

At a dolphin center in Mexico, Merlin the dolphin is being trained to use the ipad to communicate with his human trainers. So far, he has been able to use his beak to touch objects that he sees in real life (e.g. if he is shown a real soccer ball, he will then touch an image of a ball on the ipad when it is shown amidst other objects), but in the future researchers at the center expect that as his training continues Merlin will be able to use the ipad to communicate more abstract concepts like emotions or actions.

In the above clip, as a dog watches video footage of the family cat he appears to examine different possibilities explaining what he sees.
(Note: Viewing this clip in its entirety is worth it, as it builds throughout with the most interesting evidence of not thinking happening in the second half.)
